Children and families are invited to a special story time and tea party at the library! We will read stories in the kids’ room and share tea and treats outside (if weather allows!) on Saturday, July 27, 1:00 – 1:45. If the weather is not nice, we will have tea inside the library. This program is best for ages 2 – 6 with caregiver, but kids and families of all ages are welcome.

Summer Playground participants can be picked up at the Community Center today, July 16. They have moved inside due to the weather.
The library will have a second local plants garden meeting on Thursday, July 18, 5:30 PM. We will discuss which plants to include in the garden, and we’ll hand out buckets and dirt so that people can start collecting plants! All are welcome!

Join us for the Final Summer Dive-In Movie Night of the summer! Enjoy a movie on the big screen while swimming in the pool. Bring your floaties, friends, and family to the Aquatic Center on Friday, August 2nd @ 6:30p.m. -8:30p.m. Personal floaties are welcome, but must be inflated before coming to the event. You don't want to miss it!

The Aquatic Center's Open Lap Swim will be closed tonight (Friday, July 5th) due to our Dive-In Movie Night event. Instead, you can join us at 6:30pm for the showing of Inside Out on the big screen! The sauna and fitness center will still be available. All ages, daily pass fee, and personal floaties are welcome! Please make sure to inflate them on your own before the event. We hope to see you soon!

Don't let the rain dampen that festive spirit. Head to Downtown Unalaska for PCR's 4th of July Parade. The parade kicks off at NOON today! The parade route along Broadway Ave. will be closed from 11:45 through the end of the parade.
