Summer Solstice Run
The Summer Solstice Run is the first race to kick off summer! Start summer the right way and run! Racers will start from Carl E. Moses Boat Harbor behind Bunker Hill to Little South America and back. Each racer will be given a Summer Solstice bug repellent bracelet upon check in, while supplies last. If you have a little racer in Kindergarten or under, check out the Tot Run section.

Test your physical and mental limits along with some great views of Unalaska with the Ballyhoo Mountain Run. there is an early turn - around for 12 and under racers. If you have a little racer in Kindergarten or under, check out the Tot Run section.

Tot Runners
Tot Runs
Summer Solstice Run & Ballyhoo Mountain Run
Children kindergarten and under can participate in our runs! We will have short courses designed specifically with our tots in mind at each racing event. Tot Runs begin 15 min prior to the adult race start. Parents/guardians are encouraged to run with their child. There is no fee for children participating in our Tot Runs.

Bunker Hill Marathon
Bunker Hill Endurance Challenge
Challenge yourself against one of Unalaska’s most iconic hills. Participants will line up at the Bunker Hill gate and seek to complete as many round trips up to the bunker as they can. All ages are welcome to participate but the marathon distance is not recommended for participants under 18 years of age.
A custom trophy will be given to the fastest Men's and Women's runners to complete the full marathon distance and every marathon finisher will receive a custom medal. All other participants will receive a custom race decal.
The cut-off time for the race will be 6 hours. How many laps can you do?

Summer Sports, Fitness, & Wellness Camps

Youth Archery Tournament
Summer Youth Archery Camp & Tournament
Archery is a lifelong sport that helps youth develop focus and sportsmanship. Join us for a one-week instructive Archery Camp followed by a Saturday tournament. Archers will develop the skills needed to safely and accurately shoot a compound bow. Archers will have the opportunity to compete in a competitive tournament at the end of the week. Archers may provide their own equipment. Before use, all personal equipment must be approved by the instructor. Younger children may participate with the instructor's permission. Maximum: 24
The Saturday tournament is open to all family and friends and will run from 1:00 p.m. to around 6:00 p.m.

Ages: Grade 4 - 12 (Younger archers may participate at the instructor's discretion)

Youth Soccer Camp
Summer Soccer Camp
Calling all soccer players! Picture yourself lacing up your cleats, feeling the warm sun on your face, and hearing the cheers of your teammates as you dribble down the field. At soccer camp, you'll make new friends, learn new skills, and have a blast playing the beautiful game all summer long. So grab your gear, kick off your summer with a goal, and get ready to have a ball at soccer camp!
Participants will learn valuable soccer fundamentals and skills, everything from ball dribbling to fancy foot skills and traditional field positions. Become a better overall player with “feet”-on training this summer! Camp will be held outdoors but, in the event of poor weather, camp will be held in the Community Center Gymnasium. Participants should bring a water bottle, a snack, sunscreen, appropriate clothing and footwear. Shin guards are required. PCR has shin guards available for purchase for $10/pair.

Do you find it hard to develop a consistent exercise routine? Are you interested in learning more about wellness and practice some wellness and/or nutrition measures? Are you looking for a fun, fitness class your kids can attend on your time schedule that doesn't have a set class time? Do you think that the options for classes like that are limited here on our island? NOT ANYMORE!
PCR is proud to present the Fitness on Demand virtual workout system. You and your friends can select from hundreds of workout and wellness videos in the system kiosk and take the class with a life-sized instructor on our nearly 10 ft. virtual video display! Filter your class options on the wall kiosk based on your interests, types of workouts/wellness goals, and equipment for available video options.
There is also a limited supply of exercise equipment located in the Community Center Multipurpose Room closet to accompany your class. This system can be accessed by all PCR pass holders or with a daily visit fee.
There are classes for all ages and interests from cardio, strength training, kickboxing, HIIT training, Yoga/Pilates/Meditation, dance, nutrition and wellness videos, senior fitness, stretching, child fitness movement, and much much more!
