Borrow the book, try a few recipes, and then get together at the library to share some food and talk about how it turned out. 🏕️ Vendor Booths: Secure your spot for just $10.00 each! Your booth reservation includes a tent with up to three walls, 1 table, and 2 chairs.
🍽️ Extra Tables: Vendors are welcome to bring up to 2 additional tables for even more holiday goodies and crafts.
🔌 Power: We have limited booths available with power! If you require electricity, make sure to note it during your registration at the community center. 🧯For those using power you will need to be sure to bring your own extension cord (15-25 ft recommended) and a power strip if you need multiple outlets. 🧹
🚫 Safety First: No deep fryers or open flames are permitted in the gym. We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable time. 🚒

The City of Unalaska is pleased to announce that the Unalaska Public Library will sell a limited number of metal donor plaques to display on two artwork panels in the library entryway. The metal panels and plaques have been designed by Cat Cramer, the metal artist who created the metal windscreen in front of the library.
These plaques will display the names of donors and will cost $200 each. Plaques come in the following shapes:
• Halibut
• Otter
• Puffin, standing
• Puffin, swimming
• Raven
• Rockfish
We will sell a limited number of each shape, so contact us early for the best selection! Donors may purchase plaques from October 30 – December 1. We anticipate installing the panels and donor plaques in Spring 2024.
Sample plaques may be viewed at the Unalaska Public Library. Please contact the library for more information about this opportunity, including character limits and payment options.

1. Family Games and Photo Booth: 🎮📸

Play a selection of fun child-oriented games and stop by the photo booth for a free family picture. Participants will receive a treat bag on your way out of the gym to the Community Trunk or Treat that has been sponsored by Alaska Ship Supply and Safeway.
2. Community Trunk or Treat: 🚗🍭
Time: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Location: PCR rear parking lot (weather permitting)
City departments and businesses are invited to participate and host a trunk. Please contact the PCR front desk to reserve your spot.
3. Halloween Costume Contest: 🎭🏆
Time: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Registration: Begins at 4:30 PM
Location: PCR Library
Costume judging for all ages: 0-5, 6-12, teen, adult, and a family category.
Categories include Best Character, Best Homemade, and Judges’ Choice.
Winners will be announced at the end of the PCR Halloween Event at the Community Center.
4. Pumpkin Carving and Decorating Contest: 🎃🎨
Submission Deadline: No later than 8:00 PM on October 30th
Location: PCR Community Center front desk
Get creative and showcase your pumpkin carving and decorating skills by submitting your pumpkin for the Annual Pumpkin Carving and Decorating Contest.
